Chapter 39 Admission Notice
As expected, the Ministry of Magic did not question Jiang Li afterwards. It should be that Dumbledore stepped in to resolve the matter.
Snape stayed in St. Mungo's for three days and then asked Jiang Li to take him back because a boy about his age moved into the bed next to him. He was very lively and kept talking to Snape.
Snape was so annoyed by his noise that he felt like hundreds of ducks were quacking in his ears. He couldn't stand it for a moment.
The next day after returning home, Lily and Petunia came over.
"Sev, I'm so glad you're okay."
Seeing Snape unharmed, Lily breathed a sigh of relief and began to chatter about what happened afterwards.
She didn't find Jiang Li. When she went back, there was no one on the lawn, only burnt lawn. She thought Snape had been eaten and was so sad that she almost called the police.
Fortunately, when Jiang Li returned, he told Lily that Snape was rescued, otherwise Lily would have blamed herself for the rest of her life.
Snape listened carefully to Lily's narration, then took out a book and asked, "Let me test your knowledge of potions. You must have been reading books these days, right?"
When Lily heard this, the smile on her face froze for a moment.
She hadn't even opened her potion book in these days.
Looking at her expression, Snape guessed the result and frowned, "Hogwarts will start in September. You should focus on your studies."
Lily felt an invisible sense of oppression, and suddenly thought that it would be a good idea for Snape to stay in the hospital for a few more days.
No, no, how could she think like that? Snape was doing this for her own good!
Lily quickly adjusted her mindset and said seriously, "I will study hard."
Hearing this, Snape showed a satisfied look.
Looking at the way the two of them get along, Jiang Li had an expression that was hard to describe.
In this situation, how could Lily develop feelings for Snape that went beyond teacher-student and friendship? Isn't this just finding herself a father?
Seeing that both of them felt very comfortable, Jiang Li decided not to remind them and let them take their own course.
In July, Snape received the acceptance letter from Hogwarts.
Jiang Li leaned over to take a look at the contents.
Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry: Albus Dumbledore (President of the International Confederation of Magic, President of the Wizarding Association, First-Class Magician of the Order of Merlin)
Dear Mr. Snape:
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to study at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Enclosed is a list of required books and equipment.
The semester is scheduled to start on September 1st, and we will be waiting for your owl to bring your reply before July 31st.
Vice Principal (Female)
Sincerely, Minerva McGonagall
Snape was not too surprised when he received the admission notice. What made him curious was that Jiang Li also received a letter from Dumbledore.
Seeing him staring at the letter in his hand, Jiang Li waved the envelope and said, "Do you want to see it?"
"No," Snape replied immediately.
When he saw Jiang Li's smile, he didn't think it was a good thing.
Hearing this, Jiang Li showed a regretful expression, which made Snape more certain of this idea.
"There are still some things here that we haven't bought yet. We need to go to Diagon Alley. Lily should have received the admission letter from Hogwarts. You can go and ask her if she wants to go shopping together." Jiang Li suggested.
This idea was exactly what Snape wanted.
"Okay, I'll ask Lily later."
However, before Snape left, Lily came over excitedly when she received the Hogwarts admission letter.
"It was amazing. You didn't see the scene where the owl knocked on my window glass. Dad was so scared that he wanted to chase the owl away. Fortunately, Penny remembered to send the admission notice and let the owl in."
Lily excitedly talked about the scene and danced with joy.
"My parents were stunned until Professor McGonagall knocked on my door. Then we knew that little wizards in the Muggle world would have professors to guide and explain things to them. Professor McGonagall was really elegant and she could even turn into a very cute cat."
Jiang Li and Snape both watched Lily's narration seriously, and responded with a sentence or two from time to time.
"By the way, we are going to Diagon Alley tomorrow to buy what we need. Do you want to come with me?"
Lily was talking until her mouth was dry. She finally remembered the purpose of her trip and asked Snape.
"Yes, that's what we wanted to talk to you about," Snape replied.
"See you tomorrow!" Lily said happily.
She couldn't wait to see what the wizarding world was like.
The next day, just as the genius was polishing his hair, the doorbell rang.
Jiang Li came over to open the door sleepily and saw Lily with a rosy face.
Snape came out in his pajamas and took a look. He was surprised to see Lily getting ready.
"Sev, Li! Our whole family is leaving for Diagon Alley now. Do you want to come with us?" Lily said energetically.
"You guys got up really early." Jiang Li sighed.
"Everyone was so excited when they heard that they were going to enter the magical world. I couldn't sleep all night," Lily said excitedly.
Jiang Li took a half step back, patted Snape on the shoulder and said, "I'll leave it to you. Go with them."
It was too early and she couldn't get up, so she had to go back to her room and have some sleep first.
Snape saw through her thoughts at a glance and was speechless.
He said to Lily, "You guys drive to Diagon Alley first, we'll change our clothes and then go over there."
"Aren't you coming with us?" Lily asked.
Her father specially borrowed a car and planned to go see the magical world in person.
"We have other ways to get there. Six people in one car is too crowded," Snape explained.
Lily thought about the scene and felt that what Snape said made sense.
"Then we'll go over first, and we'll meet up again when we get to Diagon Alley," Lily said seriously.
Snape nodded.
"it is good."
He stood at the door and watched Lily trot into the car and say something to Mr. Evans in the driver's seat. Then the car slowly drove away and slowly disappeared from sight.
After closing the door, Snape looked at the dim living room, turned on the lights, returned to the room, and started picking out clothes from the closet.
The clothes he chose for himself were mostly simple black clothes.
The more lively and gorgeous clothes were all bought for him by Jiang Li.
Snape hesitated for a long time and chose the white shirt and light gray suit pants that Jiang Li bought for him.
Ten minutes later, there was a knock on Jiang Li's door.
She climbed up from the bed with a face full of resentment, looked at Snape outside the door, and said sinisterly: "You'd better come to me if you have anything important to tell me, otherwise you're dead."
Snape held up a black shirt and black pants, and asked Jiang Li seriously, "How do you think these clothes should be matched to look good?"
Although Jiang Li always likes to play tricks on people, he has a good sense of taste and the clothes he always puts together look great.
Jiang Li took a deep breath, resisted the urge to curse, grabbed Snape's clothes and said, "This one doesn't suit you, I'll choose one for you!"
She resigned herself to walking into Snape's room and began picking out clothes for him.
In Snape's closet, there were two sets of black daily clothes, a set of pajamas, and the other side was filled with things she had bought for Snape. There were items of all colors, but they were all brand new and, except for the scarf, had basically not been touched.
Jiang Li raised the corners of his lips, with a cunning light in his eyes, and chose a goose yellow sports jacket for Snape, with a white shirt inside, white pants and yellow and white patterned shoes.
Very youthful and beautiful color.
Snape saw the clothes she had chosen and closed his eyes, looking away.
He felt that sometimes he shouldn't trust Jiang Li so much.
