Chapter 38 He is a little shy
On the first day of Perry Manen's appointment, he encountered a werewolf attacking a young wizard.
When he and his colleagues arrived at the scene, the werewolf was in the flames, howling miserably.
The witch standing nearby had fierce eyes and exuded murderous aura, just like the most evil prisoner in Azkaban.
Fei Rui dared to swear that this witch was definitely not the first time to kill someone. Maybe it was some vicious criminal who escaped and killed someone.
Seeing Jiang Li move, he immediately took out his magic wand, pointed it at Jiang Li, and scolded him.
"Not allowed to move!"
Jiang Li stopped and looked coldly at the Auror who arrived late.
"What? You Aurors didn't show up when faced with the werewolf that attacked the little wizard. Now that I've killed the werewolf, you're so late and you want to punish me?" She looked at the Aurors sarcastically.
Fei Rui's face felt a little hot. When he noticed the unusual movement, he rushed over as fast as he could, but he was still a step too late.
Jiang Li walked straight to Snape and asked him in a low voice: "Are you hurt?"
Snape moved, and felt a sharp pain in his arm. His face turned pale and he said, "I'm fine."
"What! All the bones in your body are broken!!!"
Jiang Li exclaimed loudly!
Before Snape could react, he saw Jiang Li blinking at him.
"Mr. Auror, is this how you protect our little wizard? You let a powerful werewolf roam around in the Muggle area. If the child hadn't been smart and called me in time, he would be dead now!!" Jiang Li asked angrily while looking at Fei Rui.
Fieri's face looked a little ugly. After all, Aurors were not omniscient and omnipotent.
"I'm taking this child to St. Mungo's for treatment. If anything happens, I will never let you go!"
Jiang Li walked to Snape like an angry mother and pulled him out.
"It hurts! Be gentle."
Snape cooperated with Jiang Li's acting very well and cried out in pain. His expression was distorted and painful, because Jiang Li was really twisting the flesh on the inside of his arm hard.
He really wanted to punch Jiang Li.
Seeing this, Fei Rui didn't dare to ask Jiang Li what happened, for fear that she would complain about him.
Jiang Li Apparated with Snape, and in order to make the play complete, he actually sent Snape to St. Mungo's Hospital for treatment.
After learning about the situation, the doctor at St. Mungo's prescribed a healing potion for Snape and asked him to stay in the hospital for a few days. The reason was quite simple.
Because the magic power of a young wizard who is still in the growth stage is very unstable, Snape forcibly used high-level spells when encountering a werewolf, which caused a magic riot and injured his body. He needed to be observed for a few days to confirm that everything was normal before he could go back.
"There is nothing wrong with my body. I don't need to be hospitalized here."
Jiang Li had just used the shielding spell when Snape immediately looked into her eyes and said this.
"No, you have to stay here for a few days. If you get away with it so easily, the Aurors from the Ministry of Magic will come to trouble me. After all, the arson case is being investigated seriously, and I don't want the fire to burn me."
Jiang Li took out an apple from the fruit basket and began to peel it skillfully with a small silver dagger.
Snape looked at Jiang Li weakly, his complexion only slightly better than the white sheets.
"You shouldn't have been so impulsive and killed the werewolf."
"He was going to kill you. How could I not be impulsive? I was very kind not to slice him up."
Jiang Li handed the peeled apple to Snape, "If I act a little emotional in front of that Auror, he will think that my behavior is justifiable."
Snape took the apple with mixed feelings... happy yet aggrieved.
He felt that there must be something wrong with his brain, which was why he had such a strange feeling.
I took a bite of the apple; it was sour and sweet.
He glanced at Jiang Li, who was lying on his hospital bed and eating an apple, then silently moved his chair and leaned against the wall.
"Thank you for coming all the way to save me." Snape said softly.
The voice was very soft, but Jiang Li heard it.
She took a bite of the apple and said, "I can't help it. I can't just watch you die. Fortunately, when your necklace activated the shield effect, I was able to sense it. Otherwise, you would have become a meat pie."
"Didn't Lily go to remind you?"
As soon as he said this, Snape felt that he had asked a stupid question. How could Lily find Jiang Li in such a short time?
"No, I put a little positioning on your necklace. Given your current condition, even if you avoid fatal injuries, you will die if you meet a strong opponent. The necklace has no effect at all, but it is enough time for me to get to your side and kill those who bully you."
Jiang Li leaned against the pillow and said calmly: "I will repair the necklace for you after we go back, and I can save your life a few more times."
Snape looked at the necklace and felt a slight warmth in his heart.
"Thank you."
Although it may seem a little off sometimes, it is really reliable at critical moments.
Jiang Li was surprised when he saw the fleeting smile on his face.
She scratched Snape's nose with her fingertips and said lovingly, "Little professor, smile more. It's much better than when you frown."
"..."
Snape's ears instantly turned red, and he gritted his teeth and said, "Miss Malfoy, could you please stop using your tricks to coax children on me?"
"But you are just a child now." Jiang Li looked at him with a smile.
She felt that Snape was particularly vivid when he was angry, like a living person.
"May I remind you that I have already..."
"Albus!"
When Jiang Li saw the person appearing at the door, he immediately got up from the bed, carried Snape to the bed in a lightning speed, covered him with a quilt, and acted with concern.
"Gardenia, this is..."
Dumbledore looked at Jiang Li with a questioning look.
Jiang Li immediately told Dumbledore what happened. With red eyes, he said, "I really didn't mean to kill the werewolf. I was so angry at that time that Severus almost died. By the time I realized what was happening, I had already killed the werewolf. The Ministry of Magic will definitely summon me. I really don't know what to do."
Jiang Li expressed the helplessness and fear of killing someone for the first time vividly, and even his voice trembled.
"Child, I already know what happened. You will be fine." Dumbledore comforted.
Jiang Li cried with joy, "Really?"
"Of course it's true." Dumbledore looked at Jiang Li kindly and said, "You were very brave to stand up to save your friend. I think anyone would understand your actions, right?
By the way, the professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts is still vacant. Perhaps you can teach the young wizards in class how to deal with werewolves when they encounter such a situation."
Jiang Li was surprised and asked, "Are you going to hire someone to be a teacher at Hogwarts?"
"Yes, you are very good. I think you are fully qualified for this position." Dumbledore affirmed to Jiang Li.
Jiang Li knew that this was the condition Dumbledore gave him to solve his problem. After thinking about it, he quickly gave a result.
"If Hogwarts needs me, I will be happy to teach these young wizards Defense Against the Dark Arts." Jiang Li smiled happily and said, "I really hope that day will come soon."
Snape couldn't hear the conversation between the two, but seeing Jiang Li's varied facial expressions, he knew that she must be lying again. The two of them must have reached some unknown condition, otherwise Dumbledore would not have smiled like that.
Dumbledore noticed that Snape had been looking at him and waved at him with a kind smile.
Snape turned his head expressionlessly.
"It seems that the little wizard is a little shy." Dumbledore said with a smile.
It was the first time that Jiang Li heard someone evaluate Snape in this way, it was quite fresh.
