Indra, Emperor of Heaven, finds himself cursed, his divine power gone, and Heaven a dilapidated dump. To make matters worse, every millennium, Asuras beat him to a pulp, and he's sick of being a cosmic punching bag. But then, he remembers a core cosmic law: \"Penance.\" It grants immense power and can even curse others. Indra decides to practice penance... not for glory, but to gain enough power to never be beaten again, and maybe even curse anyone who bothers him. His first act of 'asceticism'? Sleeping for a thousand years.
