When she finally arrived at the gate of the castle, the old and heavy door made a dull "creaking" sound and slowly opened. A foul smell came to her face, and Lin Xiao couldn't help covering her mouth and nose.

She walked into the castle carefully. It was dark and damp inside. The torches on the walls flickered with a faint and strange light, casting shadows around them into strange shapes. Lin Xiao's footsteps echoed in the empty hall, sounding particularly eerie.
"Is anyone there?" Lin Xiao called out tentatively, his voice trembling in the air.
