Chapter 250 "The Great Adventure in the Fantasy World: Lin Xiao's Life and Death Breakout&

Lin Xiao walked alone on the winding mountain road, surrounded by towering cliffs and dense jungles that were almost opaque to the light. The sky was covered with dark clouds, pressing down heavily, as if the whole world was shrouded in a gloomy haze.

"This shabby place is simply hell on earth!" Lin Xiao muttered, frowning, her face full of anxiety and fatigue. Her already worn-out clothes were now torn by the branches, like rags hanging on her body. Her hair was messy like a bird's nest, and a few strands of hair were stuck to her forehead by sweat.

Suddenly, a gust of wind blew past, and the wind was so strong that it almost knocked Lin Xiao to the ground.

"Oh!" she screamed, hugging a thick tree trunk tightly with both hands, her body shaking with fear.

At this moment, a low and terrifying roar came from the distance. The sound seemed to come from the depths of hell, constantly echoing in the valley, making people shudder.

"What the hell?" Lin Xiao's heart tightened and his eyes widened, filled with fear and vigilance.

I saw a huge monster slowly walking out of the woods. This monster was as tall as a two-story building, as huge as a mountain, covered with a thick layer of black scales, flashing a strange light in the weak light. Its eyes were like two burning fireballs, with blood-red light shooting out from them, and a pungent hot air spewed out of its mouth, which seemed to burn the surrounding air.

"Oh my god!" Lin Xiao was so frightened that his face turned pale instantly, without a trace of blood. His legs couldn't help but tremble, as if sifting chaff.

She turned and ran, her feet seemed to be on Hot Wheels, rushing desperately towards the top of the mountain.

"Don't chase me! Don't chase me!" Lin Xiao shouted as he ran, his voice changing tone with tears in his eyes.

The monster was chasing closely behind, and every step it took shook the earth, leaving deep footprints on the ground.

Lin Xiao ran out of breath, her chest heaving violently, as if it was about to explode. Her heartbeat was like a drum, and the "boom, boom, boom" sound kept ringing in her ears.

"What should I do? What should I do? I can't just die here!" Lin Xiao's brain was working rapidly, trying to find a way to escape.

Just then, she saw a cave ahead.

"Never mind, let's go in first!" Lin Xiao rushed into the cave without hesitation.

The cave was dark and damp, filled with an unpleasant stench of decay. The ground was covered with wet moss, and one could easily slip if one was not careful.

Lin Xiao walked in cautiously and suddenly heard a "hissing" sound.

"Are there other monsters?" Her heartbeat quickened again, as if it was about to jump out of her throat.

With the weak light, she found that the cave wall was covered with unknown reptiles. Those reptiles were colorful and had strange shapes, some looked like snakes, some like centipedes, and some like spiders, which made people's scalps tingle.

"Ah!" Lin Xiao screamed and turned to run towards the cave entrance.

However, the monster was already guarding the entrance to the cave. Its huge body blocked the entire entrance, leaving only a faint ray of light.

"It's over, it's really over now!" Lin Xiao collapsed to the ground in despair, tears streaming down his face uncontrollably.

"Oh God, why do you treat me like this? What did I do wrong?" Lin Xiao cried out at the top of his lungs.

At this critical moment, a mysterious light emanated from Lin Xiao's body. The light became stronger and stronger, illuminating the entire cave as bright as day.

The monster was startled by the light and took a few steps back.

Lin Xiao looked at the light on his body in surprise, not knowing what to do.

"What on earth is going on?" she muttered to herself.

At this moment, a mysterious figure appeared in the light.

"Don't be afraid, little girl. I'm here to help you." The voice was deep and magnetic.

Lin Xiao looked up and saw an old man in a white robe.

"Who are you?" Lin Xiao asked puzzledly.

"I am a hermit in this mountain. I saw you were in trouble, so I came to help you." The old man said with a smile.

"Really? Thank you so much!" Lin Xiao seemed to have found a life-saving straw.

The old man waved his hand, and a powerful force attacked the monster.

The monster roared and started a fierce battle with the old man.

Lin Xiao watched nervously from the side, his heart in his throat.

"Come on, grandpa!" Lin Xiao clenched his fists.

After a fierce fight, the old man finally defeated the monster.

"Little girl, it's not advisable to stay here for long. You should leave quickly," said the old man.

"But I don't know where to go." Lin Xiao looked confused.

The old man pointed in a direction and said, "Keep walking in this direction and you will be able to get out of this forest."

Lin Xiao was filled with gratitude and said, "Thank you, Grandpa. I will definitely remember your kindness."

After saying that, Lin Xiao walked in the direction the old man pointed.
