Chapter 216: Episode 7 Ends

Hermione's voice rang out, and Harry quickly stuffed the mirror back into his clothes. He turned around and saw Ron and Hermione walking towards him.

"Hermione, I want to be alone for a while." Harry said with a somewhat depressed look.

"Harry, I just found out how to preserve your parents' souls in the library."

Hermione excitedly took out the book, opened it to a certain page, placed it in front of Harry, and said happily:

"We can place your parents' souls in the portrait, and then use a specific spell to extract the memories of your parents. They can accompany you just like the Fat Lady's portrait."

Harry took the book and read it happily for a few seconds, then the smile on his face gradually faded.

"Hermione, if this succeeds, will my parents be trapped in the portrait forever?"

Hermione had not expected this and was also stunned.

"Okay, our main task now is to preserve the souls. Maybe there will be a solution in the future?" Ron encouraged.

Harry quickly recovered.

Yes, it would be great if his parents could be with him. Maybe there would be other ways in the future.

"Okay, now we should go collect the materials to make the picture frame. Ordinary picture frames cannot withstand the effects of enchantments."

"Are we going to Hogsmeade to buy it?"

"Some things can't be bought in Hogsmeade. We can ask Hagrid to help buy them."

"Some of them are potion materials. Should we go to the potion room and steal some..."

The three of them began to discuss actively.

The next day, when Jiang Li went to find Snape, he saw Ron and Harry dealing with slugs.

When they saw Jiang Li appear, they looked at her as if they had seen a savior and asked for help.

Jiang Li looked at Snape curiously and asked, "Did the two of them do anything?"

"They were disrupting the class, making the cauldron explode and spilling the scalding potion all over other people. I don't know what they were thinking. I explained the steps to them many times, but they still made mistakes. They are just as stupid as James."

Snape was furious when he thought about what happened in Potions class.

"My father is not what you say."

Harry was also enraged, looking at Snape angrily, his chest heaving.

Jiang Li knew how much Snape treasured the potion, so he patted his arm and said in a gentle voice, "Don't be angry, I'll talk to Harry."

Snape's expression looked a little better after hearing Jiang Li's gentle voice.

Jiang Li looked at Harry and said softly, "Okay, don't be angry. He didn't mean to belittle your father. He was just belittling you."

Harry: “…” It sounds even more painful.

"Okay, tell me why you want to mess up in Potions class."

Jiang Li saw Harry leisurely and smiled, "I don't think that you, who is so smart, would make such a big mistake in Potions class. You must be planning to do something, right?"

"I didn't..." Harry said guiltily.

Jiang Li looked at him with a smile, as if he had seen through his thoughts.

Harry swallowed, glanced at Jiang Li, and whispered, "We didn't mean to hurt anyone else."

“I know you didn’t mean to do it, but others don’t know why you did it, and your actions did have bad consequences.

Severus punishes you to make you aware of the harm your actions cause to others and to maintain order in the classroom.

If everyone does the same thing as you and gets away with it, do you think anyone will still listen to the professor? You should apologize to those affected classmates."

I didn't expect that Snape's punishment of them had such a deeper meaning.

Harry thought that Professor Snape disliked him and was deliberately targeting him.

Seeing the shameful expression in Harry's eyes, Jiang Li smiled and said, "If you need any potion ingredients, you can just spend money to buy them from Severus. What else do you need now?"

"Did you know we were making potions?" Ron looked at Jiang Li in shock.

"You guys are so obvious about it. I think anyone who is not a fool should know what you want to do." Jiang Li said with a smile.

Hearing this, Harry and Ron both showed embarrassed expressions.

After hesitating for a while, Harry told Jiang Li the materials he needed.

"Do you have some of these things?" Jiang Li asked Snape.

Snape glanced at Harry with disdain, then said to Jiang Li gently, "Yes."

With a cold face, he handed all the necessary materials to Harry.

Jiang Li smiled as he sent the two away, and reminded them, "Remember to pay for the materials."

The two walked out the door with some disbelief on their faces.

"Snape just gave us the potion ingredients like that? Could he be plotting something?" Ron thought darkly.

Harry held the potion with a complicated expression and said, "Maybe we misunderstood him. He is not as bad as we thought."

Hearing this, Ron thought of Snape's usual sour face in class.

"It's possible that he's targeting all Gryffindors equally."

"..."

After collecting the materials and making the photo frame, the three of them came to Jiang Li and told him their ideas.

"Okay, I have prepared a photo frame. Since you have prepared it too, I don't need to do it." Jiang Li said with a smile.

The three people who worked so hard to collect materials: "..."

Seeing the expressions on their faces, Jiang Li's smile deepened.

He took out a dagger and pointed it at Harry, "Are you ready?"

Harry nodded nervously.

Before Harry could react, Jiang Li stabbed the dagger into his forehead.

Hermione, who was standing next to her, thought she was trying to hurt Harry on purpose and was so scared that she almost attacked Jiang Li.

Snape quickly stopped her and said coldly, "Don't disturb Gardenia."

Only then did Hermione notice that although Jiang Li's dagger had pierced into the scar on Harry's forehead, not a drop of blood was shed afterwards.

The next second, Jiang Li's hand penetrated directly into Harry's forehead and roughly peeled off the residual soul attached to his soul.

The moment the remnant soul was stripped off, Harry's face turned pale and cold sweat broke out as he watched Jiang Li directly take out a black evil remnant soul.

He had seen similar residual souls in his notebook before.

Jiang Li threw the remnant soul to the ground, stomped it out, and said to Hermione, "Where is the photo frame you prepared?"

Hearing this, Hermione quickly took out the photo frame and placed it in front of Jiang Li.

Jiang Li opened his palms and poured his almost invisible soul into the frame.

The originally blank picture frame began to change, but it could never take shape.

"We also need the memories of old friends." Hermione said, looking at Jiang Li and Snape.

Jiang Li took out a memory and put it in, then turned to look at Snape and said, "It's your turn."

Harry also looked at Snape nervously and said, "I know I have done many things to make you angry in the past, but please..."

"Shut up, I know what to do."

When Snape said this, he had already taken out a trace of memory and placed it in the picture frame.

The picture frame that had not yet taken shape seemed to have come to life, and it immediately condensed into the image of Lily and James.

The two of them instantly became lively and energetic.

"Where is this place? Slug, how did you become so ugly? Old and ugly."

When James in the portrait saw Snape, he laughed loudly.

Snape's face darkened instantly.

When the other people present heard this, they couldn't help but feel ashamed.

No wonder Snape hated James so much and spoke so harshly to him. He was not afraid that Snape would tear up his picture frame.

"I'm sorry, I apologize to you on behalf of my father. We're leaving first."

Harry was afraid that Snape would be angry, so he said this weakly and quickly took the picture frame away.

The other two also quickly left.

Watching them leave, Jiang Li sighed softly: "It's a pity that I will never see them again."

Hearing this, Snape looked down at Jiang Li and asked, "Are we going back now?"

Jiang Li nodded. "We've been out for so long without Ella. She's probably going to be upset."

She took out a modified time-space converter from her bracelet, started moving the hands on it, and disappeared into thin air.

Snape remained where he was, looking around with a confused look in his eyes.

Wasn't he sleeping in his room just now? Why was he here?

Everyone had forgotten that Jiang Li had ever appeared. When someone occasionally remembered it, they thought it was just an illusion.

The world corrected some things, and everyone started moving forward and living a completely different life.
