Chapter 215 1Everything will be fine
Fang Yanli took Fu Yusheng out of the city. The smooth road surface became bumpy. Fu Yusheng's heart sank even more. Things were going very wrong.
He didn't know what was happening, but the wilderness around him made his palms sweat.
"This is it." Fang Yanli finally put down her hands and controlled the movement of Yin Qi. "We need to get off here."
Fu Yusheng got out of the car, his heart was in turmoil. He looked around and saw an abandoned village. In fact, he had no idea that there was such a place around their city. If Fang Yanli hadn't brought him here, he would never have known about this village in a horror movie. His nerves seemed to have reached a point where he was at his wit's end. He swallowed hard, looked at Fang Yanli, and asked, "Where are we going?"
"Follow me." Fang Yanli soared into the air and floated across the uneven path in front of her. "You must follow me, don't walk around randomly. There is a lot of yin energy flowing here, and I'm sure many souls are restless. Don't do anything to disturb their peace. Without Song Yan, I won't be able to save you, understand?"
Fu Yusheng hoped that Fang Yanli could leave this small piece of information to him. He was not afraid of ghosts, but when he heard that his wife had come to such a place, he felt even more ominous.
"Are you sure she's here? This place looks abandoned for years," he said, pointing to the cracked and scorched huts, with wild trees and plants growing in them. "Are you sure your calculations are correct?"
"I am..." Fang Yanli was about to speak when Fu Yusheng felt a chill in his face. It was as if an invisible tsunami below freezing hit him, causing his feet to slide backwards: "What's going on?" He wanted to straighten up and look at Fang Yanli who was staring at the front.
Fang Yanli felt her heart beating without a trace. She nervously looked at the Yin Qi shooting out from the mass grave a few feet ahead. The mist of Yin Qi had already swirled around Song Yan, tightly making it difficult for her to see clearly. Her master was no longer. Although it was almost impossible, fear filled her stomach as she stared at the vortex swirling in the center of the cemetery.
Will she be able to bring Fu Yusheng here in time?
There was another loud bang, and the uncontrolled Yin energy attacked again, like several undercurrents, pushing the two people away several feet.
Fang Yanli frowned, and several ugly wounds appeared on her arms and ghosts, causing her cultivation to drop suddenly. If it weren't for Fu Yusheng's Yang Qi source, she would have disappeared completely. "From here on, you can only walk alone." She shouted loudly as the Yin Qi around her surged like a small tsunami. "I can't go in anymore. If I go in again, I'm afraid I will be sucked in by the uncontrolled Yin Qi. Do you understand?" She raised Fu Yusheng's invisible arm.
"I would have followed you, but if I did, Song Yan would never be able to let go of the guilt in his heart." She continued, looking sad, sighing, and retreating further as the Yin Qi approached her. "Remember, when you see her... don't try to reason with her, just do what you think is right."
She said it easily, and Fu Yusheng stared at the remains of his wife.
In front of him stood a black and mottled figure, emitting a strange black mist. If it weren't for the ring on her ring finger, he wouldn't have recognized her at all. "Song Yan?"
The figure, or whatever it was, looked up and stared at him with those beady black eyes that bore no resemblance to his wife.
"Fu... Yu... Sheng?" The figure tilted his head and looked at him. Fu Yusheng breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, she still remembered him. Although he was a little anxious, he still tried to smile and said, "Song Yan, let's go home... Come back, okay?"
But the figure shook his head frantically. "C...can't...go...home...can't...control...together...leave!" Her last words, accompanied by a desperate scream, another wave hit Fu Yusheng, causing him to slide several feet away before he raised his head and looked at Song Yan.
"I won't leave you, Song Yan." He gritted his teeth and walked towards Song Yan. "We should go home. Chen Chen is waiting for you."
Song Yan paused when she heard Fu Yusheng's words, and an unpleasant sob sounded from her mouth. "F... idiot... what a... F... idiot." As she looked at the ground, her cry was like that of a cornered animal. "I was so stupid."
"Everything will be fine," Fu Yusheng said as he strode towards the center of the black fog, even though he felt his energy being drained with every gust of wind. "I promise everything will be fine, so cheer up, okay." He squatted in front of Song Yan, who looked up, tears of blood flowing down his mottled black smoke face. "I can't... stop... I... can't... just leave me alone."
Fu Yusheng now understood why Fang Yanli told him not to try to reason. So, he just did what he thought was right, raised his hands, and hugged her. "I've been away from you for eight years... Can you ask for more? Didn't I tell you that we're together?"
These were his last words before he lost consciousness.
