Chapter 148: It feels bad to be deceived, right?

"Mr. Lin, I'm sorry, we have to complete the mission..." Several mercenaries said in trembling voices.

"Don't understand?" Colin said viciously with his last bit of temper.

Cole didn't like to see him killing people indiscriminately. Colin didn't understand what would happen if he killed a few blind people, but he would be unhappy. So every time he killed someone, he had to be careful, for fear of making Cole unhappy.

"We need the prince, and we hope Mr. Lin can let us take the prince away. We promise that we will never hurt the prince in any way!" the man immediately promised.

Colin laughed as if he had heard a great joke. Slowly, Colin's blue eyes became redder and redder. He stared at the man who was speaking and said:

"How many times are you going to lie to Cole? When did you not promise not to hurt him? But in reality, you are more ruthless each time. The biggest mistake I made in my life was trusting you!"

"He's already good enough, how many times are you going to hurt him!" Colin's blue eyes turned bloodshot as he spoke angrily.

"Mr. Lin, we won't hurt him. It's... His Majesty said he missed the prince and wanted to see him one last time." The man explained weakly.

"Humph!" Colin pulled up a self-deprecating smile and said coldly: "I'll give you one last chance, get out of here immediately!"

He was about to lose control of the rage in his body. If it weren't for Cole, he would have been unable to find the bodies of those he had killed.

"We can't leave until we complete the mission!" the man said firmly.

"Huh, what a good dog." Colin said sarcastically: "Cole, don't blame me. I have already given them a chance."

The bloodshot in Colin's eyes became more and more obvious. The first mercenary rushed towards him, waving a sharp dagger in his hand. Colin dodged sideways and struck back, and the dagger slipped from the mercenary's hand.

Colin quickly grabbed the dagger that was about to fall to the ground, hugged the man to his chest with his backhand, and cut his throat with the dagger.

Blood gushed out, and Colin threw the man aside like garbage, his eyes full of bloodthirsty excitement.

The yellow-haired man raised the shotgun in his hand, but before he could load the bullet, Colin snatched it away.

Colin hugged the man from behind, placed the shotgun on the yellow-haired man's shoulder for support, leaned close to the man's ear, raised the corner of his lips and said:

"Honey, how about we play a game?"

Colin didn't wait for the man's response, and said to himself: "Let's count how many people there are, one, two, three... Oh, there are eight left!"

He said excitedly: "Baby, tell me which one to kill first, please?"

The man's back was pressed against Colin, his whole body trembling with fear, and he shook his head silently and desperately.

Colin seemed to be very interested in this topic. He pointed the scope of his shotgun at a man across from him and said, "How about this one first?"

The yellow-haired man yelled, "No! Don't kill him!"

"Oh? Why?" Colin grabbed the man's hand, put his fingers on the trigger, and asked provocatively:

"You care about him?"

The man shook his head desperately again.

Colin said unhappily, "Baby, you are really naughty. I gave you the right to choose, why don't you seize it? They don't have this opportunity."

As he spoke, Colin grabbed the man's finger and pulled the trigger. The recoil of the shotgun made the yellow-haired man take a step back.

"Baby, you're awesome. You've completed a mission." Colin said with a raised lip corner.

The guns were silenced so there was no sound, only a dull sound of someone falling to the ground.

“Ahhhhhhhh…you lunatic!” the man struggled violently.

Colin frowned: "Baby, how can you say I'm crazy? It was obviously you who killed the person!"

After saying this, Colin laughed sinisterly. The man felt numb all over and cold sweat oozed from his back. Only then did he realize how terrifying Colin was. No wonder the king would not hesitate to send out elite troops. He was simply a madman!

Seeing his three teammates die in front of him, a black man couldn't bear the blow. He ignored the countermeasures they had discussed in advance and picked up his gun and pointed it at Colin.

Colin's reaction speed was extremely fast, and he seemed to have seen through the black man's intention. At that critical moment, Colin quickly reached out and grabbed the yellow-haired man's hand again, using the shotgun scope in his hand to accurately aim it at the other's gun barrel.

He pulled the trigger without hesitation. With a dull sound, the bullet passed through the barrel like lightning and hit the black man directly in the center of his brow. The black man fell to the ground instantly.

Colin glared viciously at another shorter man who was shaking with fear. He seemed to be the youngest in the team.

"Baby, your good teammate seems to be afraid of what you will do to me. Why do you think he is shaking?" Colin said viciously:

"Or... let's let him go. He's so pitiful." He pretended to be distressed and said regretfully.

"Really...really?" Although the yellow-haired man didn't hold out any hope, he still had a fluke mentality and fantasized that he could let his teammates go.

"Really?" Colin said cunningly.

"Eddie, run! Don't look back!" the yellow-haired man shouted desperately.

When Eddie heard this, he felt like he had found a life-saving straw. He immediately turned around and ran back. After he ran for some distance, Colin slowly raised his gun.

The yellow-haired man seemed to realize something, and said with wide eyes: "What do you want to do!"

"Baby, haven't you figured it out? Why do you have to ask?" Although Colin said something ambiguous, his tone was frighteningly cold, as if in his eyes everyone was the same as a corpse, with no difference at all.

"No, please, let him go! Eddie...he's still young..."

The man pleaded even though he knew there was no way he could let Eddie go.

"Is he still young?" Colin grabbed the man's neck, as if it would break if he squeezed it.

"Cole was younger than him back then. Did you let him go just because he was young? How did you treat Cole?!"

Colin turned around and shot Eddie in the leg while he was running desperately. Eddie fell to the ground instantly. He looked back in disbelief. He was clearly... about to reach the end. He was only a few steps away from safety...

“Ahhhhhhhh… Madman! Beast!” the yellow-haired man shouted as he watched Eddie fall to the ground and collapse.

"Shut up!" Colin impatiently stabbed the man in the heart, threw him aside, looked down at him and said:

"Why are you so stupid? Didn't you teach Cole not to trust anyone? Why? Now it's your turn to forget?"

"It feels bad to be deceived, right?"
