Chapter 111 I Like Watching You

Fu Yusheng hung his coat on the coat rack next to the shoe cabinet at the door and followed his wife into the apartment. He noticed her eyes slowly looking around his apartment and shook his head, wondering why she was looking around as if looking for the best escape route in an emergency. Although he had indeed not touched a woman since consummating his marriage with his wife, it did not mean that he would pounce on her like a hungry wolf. He was a natural gentleman and etiquette was instilled in him since childhood. From the day he understood what was right and wrong, he would not touch her against her will.

Of course, some stolen kisses were necessary, but that was just to keep their married life interesting. In his opinion, his wife was not someone who would forgive him immediately, and it would take him a long time to get her into bed, and until then he could only survive on these kisses.

"Have you finished the inspection?" Fu Yusheng asked as he walked towards the bedroom on the left. The bedroom on the right was reserved for Song Yan and Fu Chen who were willing to stay with him for a night or two.

Song Yan was startled, clutching her wallet tightly, turned around, and stammered, "I was just looking around, I... didn't check anything." Her rebuttal should have been harsh, but when she turned around, her eyes fell on Fu Sheng's barely covered body. She lost her rhythm again, pinched her nose, and looked away. "Then can you put on some clothes? It's really distracting to talk to you like this."

"Well, at least my body can distract you." Fu Yusheng opened the bedroom door and walked in. Song Yan wanted to tell him that she was not distracted by his body, but then there was the sound of rustling clothes. Her face flushed and she stared at the ground with hatred, hoping that it would suddenly split and swallow her. She did have a lot of resistance to her husband.

"Damn it." She muttered softly and left Fu Yusheng's bedroom, fearing that he would see her blushing like a monster in front of his room.

Not long after, Fu Yusheng dressed and walked out of his room. He was wearing a simple white T-shirt and beige pants, which made her mouth drop open. When did he start wearing such casual clothes? She remembered that she had almost no chance to see this man outside of his career. Even on their wedding day, she only saw him in his birthday suit before he left for another country.

“You look unhappy,” Fu Yusheng said as he strode toward the kitchen, which was connected to the living room and dining room due to the limited space in the small apartment.

"I just feel like I gave you my virginity for nothing." Song Yan sat down at the dining table angrily. Since they were here to eat, let's talk after dinner. She crossed her arms and looked at Fu Yusheng, who was looking at her with crazy eyes. "Why are you looking at me like that? Didn't I tell the truth? I said I've been waiting for my husband for almost twenty years. I should do better than slamming the door and running away, don't you think?"

"You need food." Fu Yusheng shook his head and said, "You have no food in your stomach. I have prepared something you like to eat tonight. Don't be shy."

"Don't think you can get me off by handing me some prime steak and king crab, you know?" Song Yan snapped, although she did salivate over the fresh king crab Fu Yusheng had cooked for her. She had never had the chance to taste his cooking, but her grandfather did tell her that Fu Yusheng's cooking was great because he had been abroad for so long.

"I know. Anyway, I don't expect your forgiveness." Fu Yusheng said calmly, sitting down opposite Song Yan. His dark eyes swept over her. Song Yan's face was almost red. Why...why was he looking at her like that? That exclusive light made her a little nervous. "We're just chatting," he then picked up the bottle of wine on the table and raised it, "Want to drink?"

She nodded, and Fu Yusheng poured her some, then placed a plate of ace meat in front of her. "Dig in."

Song Yan was happy to have a moment of distraction and buried his head in his food. The two were silent as usual, but this time, instead of feeling uncomfortable, it was even more awkward. … “Stop staring at me, okay?”

“Although I like to see you”

She coughed and nearly spit out the wine she had drunk. "Stop it... Don't you dare use those cheesy lines on me."

He said with a smile: "Yan'er, you are hurting my heart now. You know I never lie. I always tell you the truth and never hide anything from you."

She picked up some crab meat with her chopsticks. "But you've never done this before."

"As long as you look into my eyes, I'll agree." Fu Yusheng said calmly.
