Chapter 67 I Will Stop Them

"Gardenia, I'm not saying all this to get you to stand on my side. I think we should at least not become enemies." Dumbledore looked at Jiang Li and said slowly.

Jiang Li smiled faintly, looked at Dumbledore and said: "Albus, you can test me, but I don't want you to involve those little wizards in danger. They are too young and have no ability to protect themselves."

"If war is destined to happen in the future, those children will be caught up in it. It will also be a kind of experience for them to adapt to danger early." Dumbledore said slowly.

"There will be no war."

Jiang Li walked to the door, looked out the window at the little wizard who was secretly riding a flying broomstick out to play, and said slowly: "I will stop them."

This time, she won't let the people she cares about sacrifice.

Dumbledore looked at her receding back for a long time, then sat down and took off his glasses, with a hint of melancholy in his blue eyes.

When Christmas comes, all the little wizards choose to go home for the holiday, only some little wizards in special circumstances will stay in school.

Jiang Li planned to go home to feel the festive atmosphere. After all, it would be too lonely without anyone in school. Snape wanted to see how the herbs he had grown were doing.

The two followed the other young wizards onto the Hogwarts Express.

"I knew you were here!"

The carriage door was opened, Lily appeared at the door, and happily sat next to Jiang Li.

"I knew you two were going back too. I searched several carriages before finally finding you. Penny must be very happy to see you."

Lily was full of energy and didn't feel tired at all as she confided in Jiang Li, occasionally complaining about James Potter causing the school to lose points.

Jiang Li listened carefully and answered a sentence or two from time to time, which made Lily want to talk even more.

Snape looked down at the potions book in his hand, not very interested in their topic.

"Why didn't I see Potter today?" Jiang Li asked with some confusion.

Shouldn't James Potter come to see Lily at this time normally?

"He has to stay in school." Lily frowned as she spoke of this, "Since Sirius and Lupin are not going back, he has to spend Christmas with them in school."

"Then he is really a good friend." Jiang Li exclaimed.

"He's always very kind to his friends," Lily replied.

She glanced at Snape quietly, and breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that he didn't say anything in rebuttal.

She didn't know why Snape and James had such a bad relationship, but she felt that they were both her friends and she didn't want to give up any of them.

There was a gentle knock on the carriage door.

Lily tilted her head and looked at it with some confusion.

Lucius's handsome face appeared outside the door.

He glanced around the carriage, looked at Jiang Li, smiled slightly and said, "Professor Malfoy, can I invite you to sit in my carriage for a while?"

Snape immediately put down the book in his hand and looked at Jiang Li.

Jiang Li turned his head to look at Lucius, smiled faintly and said, "Is there anything that can't be said here?"

"Actually, it's not that I have something to tell you, but a friend of mine is very interested in you and hopes you can meet him." Lucius explained.

Hearing this, Jiang Li didn't even raise his eyelids and said calmly: "No, if he is interested in me, he should take the initiative to come and see me instead of ordering me to go and see him."

The other party clearly didn't take her seriously and treated her as an inferior. Jiang Li never did anything to curry favor with others.

Lucius didn't expect Jiang Li to answer like this. He was stunned for a second, then a standard smile appeared on his handsome face and he said, "I see. I will tell him what you said."

He turned and left here.

Lily's face was full of inquiry. Jiang Li was already a little sleepy. He put the scarf on his face and took a nap against the window.

Lucius returned to the carriage.

Rod Nott was sitting in the carriage. When he saw that the figure he wanted to see was not following him, there was a flash of disappointment in his eyes.

Lucius said to him, "Professor Malfoy doesn't want to see you. She said that if you are sincere, you should take the initiative to see her instead of asking her to come."

Nott was slightly stunned, then quickly stood up and said, "Then I'll go see her now."

"I think you'd better not go over there now." Lucius stopped him from getting up and said, "Professor Malfoy doesn't have a very good impression of you, and there are quite a few people in the carriage. It would not be good if some words got out."

Hearing this, Nott's handsome face showed a trace of annoyance and said, "Then what should I do now?"

"Maybe it's not too late for you to communicate with Professor Malfoy after you return to school. I remember Valentine's Day is coming soon. Maybe there will be a dance this year. You can invite Professor Malfoy to dance." Lucius suggested.

Thinking that it would take so long to meet Jiang Li, Nott felt a little disappointed.

In fact, he had noticed Jiang Li a long time ago, but never had a chance to talk to her. Knowing that Lucius had a good relationship with her, he wanted him to help introduce them, but he didn't expect to backfire.

Jiang Li had no idea that a certain boy was feeling regretful because of him.

She returned home and fell asleep immediately.

Although everything was fine at Hogwarts, she still loved this bed at home the most.

As soon as Jiang Li woke up the next day, he heard knocking on the window.

She didn't want to open the window, so she used a spell to open it.

As soon as the window was opened, several owls ran in and threw gifts into Jiang Li's room.

Before Jiang Li could react, the gifts immediately filled up the corner of her room, and there was an endless stream of owls stuffing gift boxes into her room.

Jiang Li, who was sitting on the bed, was stunned. There was no place to step on the ground.

There was also a row of owls standing on her desk and chair, looking at her with their big eyes, waiting to be fed.

These are too many gifts.

Jiang Li cast a spell, stacked up the gift boxes on the ground, cleared a path, went to the kitchen and got a few boxes of biscuits to feed these cute owls.

Feeling that these gift boxes took up too much space, Jiang Li simply moved them to the living room.

When Snape woke up, he was also stunned by the mountains of gift boxes in the living room.

And there are owls that keep delivering gifts here.

He looked at Jiang Li and asked, "Did you buy these gifts?"

"How could I possibly buy these things? They were all Christmas presents given to me by my students."

Jiang Li opened a gift box, wrote down the name on it, and planned to give the other party a return gift next Christmas.

She asked Snape, "When you were a professor, what did you do with all the gifts you received?"

It was the first time for her to receive so many gifts, and she had a headache for a moment.

"I don't know, I've never received so many gifts before." Snape said slowly.

Those stupid little trolls looked at him as if he were a plague. There was no way they would give him any gifts.

However, Jiang Li's popularity opened his eyes. He was not much different from Lockhart, that brainless idiot who only knew how to show off.

Jiang Li opened about ten gifts and couldn't open any more, so he asked Snape to help him check if there was anything useful and put it away.

She now really wanted to work on her alchemy and create a Horcrux container.

That's right, a Horcrux container.

Jiang Li has already thought of a solution to remove the crown curse.
